This third edition combines classical and contemporary feminist writings on a range of women's issues. Special attempts have been made to reflect women's diversity as well as similarities in a variety of areas, including race, class, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and age. It offers feminist analyses of the sources and consequences of gender inequality and introduces students to feminist theory and methodology.
